You need to perform a complete uninstall of Inventor 2010.

Note: this tip is in reference to Inventor only - this process won't uninstall Mechanical (that comes with Inventor), Vault, or Design Review. For a clean uninstall of Mechanical 2010, see this article on Autodesk's website: TS1106107
How To
Log in as the default, local administrator of your computer and disable your anti-virus software
Select Start > Control Panel.
In XP, open Add/Remove Programs.
In Vista, open Programs and Features.
Locate Autodesk Inventor 2010 in the list of installed programs.
In XP, select Change/Remove
In Vista, select Uninstall/Change
Setup will 'initialise' for a moment. Once the Inventor 2010 dialog appears, follow the on-screen prompts to "Uninstall" the software.
Once the uninstall process has completed;
In Windows Explorer, locate and delete the following folders if they exist (pick whichever locations are relevant to your operating system):
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
For Microsoft XP 64-bit installations:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Inventor 2010
Lastly, start the registry editor.
Select Start > Run, type in regedit and select OK.

Delete the following registry keys (pick whichever keys are relevant to your system):
