AutoCAD Electrical 2008 has recently been launched and various calls have come into support with regards to the installation and especially reinstallation of catalogue content.
“Do I have to uninstall and then reinstall AutoCAD Electrical?” Thankfully NO.
How To
Log off your computer and log back on as an Administrator.
Reinsert the AutoCAD Electrical 2008 product DVD into your DVD drive.
Select Start
Select Control Panel
Select Add or Remove Programs
Highlight AutoCAD Electrical 2008 and then select the option
The following dialogue will appear:
Select Add or Remove Features and then Next
You can then add or remove catalogue content. In addition, you can also add or remove libraries. Keep selecting Next or OK until the installation process has finished
